Sparkling Modern House

The Everest remains very true to its name and takes after the colour scheme of the mountain Everest, by using brown and white to decorate the exterior. The brown LP lap siding used to cover the upper portion looks chic while the smooth HD board and batten in white colour used to decorate the lower portion looks pristine. The broad glass windows add functionality while also looking very stylish. The low-E vinyl windows prevent nearly 100% of the UV rays from entering the house while not compromising on the amount of natural light penetrating through these windows.

The fiberglass exterior door is painted blue to add a pop of colour to the otherwise subtle colour scheme. The standing seam metal roof is installed with the intention of making the house more durable and easy to maintain. The bell shaped sconce lights affixed on the wall on either side of the door keep the exterior of the house well illuminated when it gets dark and lets you navigate conveniently at night.

The use of trimmed out smooth grade plywood for interior veneer shows the importance given to keeping the house looking timeless and super classy. The white coloured interiors create an illusion of bigger and more spacious interiors while also letting the place appear neat and clean. For insulation, the Everest has fiberglass in walls along with closed cell spray foam in the sub-floor and the ceiling. The latter is one of the most efficient materials used for insulation in houses and it is also known for its water resistance ability. The engineered hardwood flooring looks polished and snazzy while the use of Sherwin Williams Deluxe paint makes the interiors appear sparkling.

The living room is not very commodious but can accommodate a standard couch to seat up to 3 people. The open kitchen follows the Everest’s bright theme and maintains the chic look that this house stands for. The kitchen holds a long 8 feet Ikea laminated counter top that not looks great but is also very sturdy. It bears a broad kitchen sink, a 2 burner propane stovetop and plywood custom cabinets. You also get an electric 9.2 cu ft. refrigerator to complete the kitchen.

The stairs leading up to the sleeping loft have a long side bar affixed in the wall for support and additionally have in-built storage facility. The bedroom loft can sleep up to two people comfortably and you can place a queen sized mattress for this purpose. The master bedroom can sleep up to 2 people too, which indicates that the Everest can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably.
